Real Wedding: Jenn & Abel

Jenn and Abel were married in a little courtyard at their home in Southern California, which resembles a Tuscan villa. Jamie Hammond photographed the wedding, and captured the day beautifully.

The wedding, designed by Heather Balliet of Amorology, was largely inspired by time the bride spent in Italy, as well as Botticelli's Primavera which so appropriately symbolizes spring, love and marriage. The wedding colors, deep coral, tangerine, pale pink and olive green, were pulled from the painting as well.

The ring cushion was made from a little pillow purchased at World Market and fashioned with ribbons.

Flowers were done by Twigg Botanicals, Amorology's sister company.

Jenn's dress was custom made for her by The Chiffarobe, 858-459-5373.

The tent was rented from Raj Tents.

Rentals from Classic Party Rentals. Linens rented from Wildflower Linens.

The floral arrangements incorporated citrus fruits and olive branches along with flowers.

There wer plenty of Italian sodas, Pellegrino and Jordan almonds to continue the Italian motif. And of course the meal was Italian cuisine!

Favor boxes from Telliegrams.

The cake was made by a family friend and decorated by Twigg Botanicals.

Pistachio and strawberry gelati from Gelateria Frizzante, 858-454-5798, were served alongside the cake.

Congratulations Jenn and Abel! And thank you to Heather Balliet and Jamie Hammond for sharing this beautiful wedding!
