Real Wedding Saturday: Christina & Sam
When I asked the talented Elizabeth Messina if she had any photos to share for a Real Wedding Saturday post, she sent these lovelies over. Imagine my surprise when I opened the email, and saw that the wedding was Christina's - the sister of my dear friend Kathleen! (You may remember that I made a board for Kathleen awhile back.)
Initially, Chris and her then-fiance Sam wanted to elope, but Chris' mom really wanted to see them get married. This intimate wedding, with immediate family members only, at the gorgeous Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara was the perfect compromise. During their stay, the couple and their families enjoyed spa treatments, fitting with the relaxed feel of the wedding. The reception was an extended dinner at the resort's restaurant.

I love you blog! So inspriational. Seems like you have been using it to promote friends lately. Not authentic.
Totesy,
I'm sorry you feel that way. I'm not sure how you feel that I've been using my blog to promote friends lately, but I assure you that I never post anything on Snippet & Ink that I don't think my readers will find inspirational, useful, or entertaining.
Best,
Kathryn
what beautiful images, I love Elizabeth's work. Very inspirational. As is everything you post.
What a beautiful wedding! I definitely feel inspired! Do you know who did the flowers?
I asked Christina if she knew who did the flowers, but her step-mom was in charge of that detail, so she didn't know. But aren't they gorgeous!? If I find out anymore about that, I'll let you know.
Where oh where are the bridesmaids dresses from? I love the color! Love it. I love that you've added real weddings. Sometime more to look forward to!
I think you're talking about that fabulous green dress? Kathleen (the lovely redhead wearing it) said that it's by Laundry. Hope that helps!
I love all these shots by Elizabeth, its so nice to see so many smiles and happiness in photographs. Very inspiring!!
