Real Wedding: Alex & Leon
Duston Todd sent over these beautiful wedding photos, and I just love the vintage twist to this whole event...

Both Alex and Leon graduated from the University of Utah, so they liked the idea of getting married somewhere on the campus. The June ceremony took place at the Fort Douglas Post Chapel, situated on the university's campus.

Alex wore one of her favorite pieces of jewelry: a cameo choker necklace that originally belonged to her mother, and was given to her years ago - and she was wearing it the night she and Leon got engaged!

The reception took place at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts - one of the couple's favorite places to visit in Salt Lake City, and a place they wanted to share with family and friends. The cake was made by a decades-old, family-run bakery, Mrs. Backer's Pastry Shop (801-532-2022).

A candy buffet included lollipops and honey sticks from a local farmers market - honey has a long history of wedding symbolism, and Alex and Leon wanted to incorporate it into their day.

Thank you so much to Duston Todd for sharing these beautiful photos with us - you can see lots more over on Duston's blog. And of course, congratulations to Alex and Leon!
