A Snippet & Ink Christmas, #6

The little black dress is classic, of course. But isn't it nice to have an alternative? Especially when the holidays are just calling for something cheerful? These are nine red dresses that I think would be perfect for all those holiday festivities.

Left: Lux Sugar Kane dress, $58 at Urban Outfitters
Center: "Intermissions" dress, $100 at Anthropologie
Right: Jones New York stretch satin dress, $170 at Macy's

Left: tartan dress, $250 at J. Crew
Center: red wrap dress, $310 at Holland Pearson
Right: Tadashi shutter dress, $340 at Bloomingdale's

Left: Diane von Furstenburg taffeta wrap dress, $465 at Bergdorf
Center: Teri Jon belted shirtdress, $595 at Nordstrom
Right: Carolina Herrera strapless dress, $3,290 at Saks

...on Friday, Christmas movies!

I know - that last one is my favorite too. And, of course, it's too expensive to even drool over!

I love the red party dress. I currently don't have one, but I'm pining over the Neiman Marcus Wish Book, 50s inspired Alexander McQueen creation. Of course, that's more than I spent on my car, so it's pretty much out...but it made it into my inspiration file.
