Board #116: Sweet Tarts for Sweethearts

This color palette is too fun, hence the title. Melissa is getting married at a country club, and her colors are pink, green, teal and orange. There's a lot to work with there, and it's easy to be overwhelmed by so many fabulous colors, so I tried to pull them together in a way that was fun without looking psychedelic. Pam's gorgeous bouquet has made an appearance in one of my previous boards, but it was too perfect not to be the main inspiration for this board.

Mood: vibrant, outgoing
Palette: pink, orange, lime green, turquoise

wow, thanks for posting a photo of mine! :) I'm a big fan of your blog.
I love those shoes too - the bride had her (roller derby) usherette sew a ton of tiny blue beads in that color onto her dress, added a blue sash, and rocked the heck out of those shoes. the groom wore a blue vintagey suit with black boots with little tiny cutouts with blue showing through... I'm not describing it that well but it was really awesome!

The beautiful arrangement in the bottom row with the orange flowers and citrus rapped in a beautiful blue was created by R. Jack Balthazar. They are phenomenal florists and you should check out their website for more inspiring floral design. They work with Oh How Charming quite often and the photographer who took the photos Elizabeth Messina. Just wanted to share this inspiring florist with you and I love your inspiration boards, they are fantastic. www.itsalltwisted.tk
