Real Wedding Saturday: Julie & Narendra
The very talented Meg Smith shared these photos with me, from a stunning wedding that took place on the Big Island of Hawai'i, and I thought it would be a perfect wedding to feature after a week of beach wedding inspiration boards. The venue, the colors, the intimate guest list of 60 - this truly was a wedding in paradise. And of course, having Kristi Amoroso for a wedding coordinator and Ariella Chezar as a floral designer doesn't hurt either!

Invitations and stationery by Janel Claire Designs. Calligraphy by Barbara Callow.

The ceremony and reception were held at the private Kahua Ranch, 3000 feet above sea level.

Narendra wore a tan suit by Kiton.

The flowers were designed by Ariella Chezar. Julie's bridesmaid, her sister, wore a dress by Jenny Yoo.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and refreshments at small tables. The space was decorated with turquoise umbrellas.

Julie wore a dress by Vera Wang with a diamond pin that belonged to Narendra's grandmother at her waist. Her shoes were by Stuart Weitzman.

The colors, flowers, and tropical fruits decorating the tables reflected the Hawai'ian landscape.

An Indian-inspired tent from Raj Tents was brought in from California.

A string quartet played while guests dined on a lunch of organic dishes, catered by Amy Ferguson, 808-329-2777. Tropical fruits were offered along with dessert.

Guests were served miniature passion fruit cakes that matched the couple's cake by Kay Cabrera.

Before leaving the wedding, Julie and Narendra, along with their guests, took photos against the ranch's beautiful backdrop wearing leis.
Congratulations Julie and Narendra, and thank you to Meg Smith, Ariella Chezar, and Kristi Amoroso for sharing these beautiful photos!
