Survivor Soiree
Some of you may have heard about this on other blogs, but I had to pass it along. Two talented ladies, Viola of Chewing the Cud and Libby of byrd + bleeker, have thought up the concept of a Survivor Soiree: a pink party to celebrate the vitality of the women who have survived breast cancer.

Viola has created New Beginnings, beautiful letterpress cards to invite your guests to a Survivor Soiree. Libby is supplying the Sweetness of Life - an all-pink candy buffet. Add some pink champagne and flowers, and you're well on your way to throwing a Survivor Soiree!

Viola and Libby have chosen to donate 10% of all proceeds to the Nellie B. Connally Breast Cancer Foundation at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. And during the month of October, all Snippet & Ink readers will receive 20% off their purchase of Survivor Soiree goods. Just mention that you read about it here when placing your order.

Thank you Viola and Libby! This is such an thoughtful and inspired concept - I know we'll be hearing about Survivor Soirees from every corner!
