Real Wedding: Shona & Michael
I first saw Shona and Michael's sweet courthouse wedding on the Ink & Peat blog, Housemartin, and I'm so glad that I get to share it with all of you today! Shona (owner of Eye Design Studio) and Michael (co-owner of Alpha Multimedia Solutions) were kind enough to share photos and some of the details about the day with us...

Shona arrived at the courthouse in a cab - she like the contrast of the cab and her wedding gown. Shona purchased her gown from the Oregon Brides Against Breast Cancer charity wedding gown sale, and was able to not only get her dress for a good price, but also to help a good cause.

Pam Zsosi from Ink & Peat did the personal flowers for the bride and groom. Shona's beautiful bouquet included white roses, andromeda, berzellia, hyacinth and ranunculus. Shona wore a sundial necklace by Brehan Todd that she found at Flutter Clutter in Portland.

After the ceremony, a few family and friends joined the couple at Mother's Bistro & Bar to share a champagne toast.

After the champagne toast, Shona and Michael went to Cannon Beach on the Oregon Coast to have a night to themselves, before returning to host an at-home reception for 60 guests. They asked guests to type well wishes on a vintage typewriter in lieu of a guest book.

Congratulations Shona and Michael - best wishes to you both! A big thank you to Pam from Ink & Peat for sharing this wedding with me, and to Trask Bedortha for sharing these photos.
