Board #411: Raspberry & Indigo
Happy Monday! I thought that this week I would play around a bit with the look of my inspiration boards, pulling from non-wedding sources for inspiration, and to creating boards that focused on a few really strong images. Hopefully today's inspiration board does that. I absolutely love the palette here, as well as the textures, and I tried to choose images that were somewhat playful - that don't take themselves too seriously. What do you think? Does an inspiration board like this still help you to get a sense of an event or a look?

I really love the combination of raspberry and indigo - very summery and a lovely reflection of the delicious summer berries around.
This would make a great color combo for a house, a wedding, or even a wardrobe. Great inspiration!
Gorgeous board! Those ice creams look delish! I love the flower image too. Happy Monday!
Love the new look of the boards. It makes them great for lots of things, not just weddings. I think the Betsy Dunlap pic is one of my favorites of all time. There is just something about those colors together. Yum.
I love your inspiration boards. I'm newly engaged but read your blog even before I was wedding planning. I have no concept yet of what colour theme I want to take forward but am having so much fun looking through all your current and past boards for true inspiration. Thank you!
Love, love, love it. The color combo is great. Navy is one of my favorite colors so you can pair it with anything and I think it's wonderful. I love the new look for the boards it gives inspiration for weddings as well as any other creative venture.
It absolutely does! =) And a board like this doesn't limit the inspiration for only a wedding...it could inspire anything! I love this color combination!
YES! I think this board works great b/c you provided a variety of elements to inspire a bride -- and such unique colors to guide us as well :) I think not sticking to traditional wedding images is a great idea! Or at least mixing traditional w/"non" traditional images :)
this is one of my favorite color combinations right now! so fresh!
I love this combination!! So pretty! It gives good inspiration for design, clothing and even cocktails :) Love it!
Lovely Summer color combinations! However, it should be noted that white plays a big part in this color combination. Some people may not think that white is a color or that it is very important. However, this inspiration board would not be near as light and cool if it was ONLY raspberry and indigo, without lots of white mixed in.
I've been obsessed with the flower can photo for weeks now! Glad to see it in a board!!!
I love this color palette!
Beautiful, beautiful color combo. Gorgeous inspiration board!
great color combo. those pink drinks look very refreshing.
These colors are inspiring. I love the contrast and it really makes me think of summer time zest! Love it!
Your inspiration boards always blow me away - beautiful colour palette.
I think that this is one of my favourite boards ever, the colour combination is so unexpected yet so absolutely perfect. Well done!
