Happy Weekend!
Weekend links are back! It took me forever to catch up on all of the blogs that I subscribe to, but hopefully now I'm up to speed. I've been enjoying Austin so far, but I'm still open to your suggestions for things to do, see, eat, so please shoot me an email or leave a comment. And in the meantime, here are some of my favorite links from around the web this week...

{via It's Mary Ruffle}
Badges for the boys and girls, via Brooklyn Bride.
Teeny-tiny, life-size objects, via Please Sir Blog.
Dig this inspiration board.
Surprised by the beauty of pigeons.
Confetti postcards.
Definitely registering for a set of these.
Meyer lemon sour cream donuts? I'll take ten.
New ban.do fave.
Coveting these earrings. Still.
Cleverest engagement pics.
And check out my berry inspiration board over on Project Wedding!
Have a happy weekend lovelies! Enjoy these last weeks of summer - boy they flew by!

I agree about that inspiration board. We love the boards on your site, but how cool would it be to have an actual one hanging on your wall next to your wedding portrait!
love the engagement shots!!!
So glad you are loving Austin!
Since I don't know what part of town you are in, or what you loving, here are some suggestions:
-The Farmer's Market on Wednesdays at the Triangle/Saturday mornings at Republic Square
-hiking the Greenbelt
-Salt Lick (the original!)
-Neiman Marcus Last Call (360 and Lamar)
-the Drag (check it out before the students come back!)
-Emeralds for greeting cards and trinkets (they have clothes, too)
Glad you are settling in! Um, sorry about the backbreaking heat and withering drout. Welcome to Texas! Let us know if you have any specific questions!
Transplanted NYer here in Austin. Some other suggestions:
-Just take a drive on 360. Beautiful views!
-Mt. Bonnell
-Barton Springs - you're sure to cool off here!
-Grab a slice of pizza at Home Slice and stroll South Congress
-Play washers at Freddie's (South 1st). Margaritas are 100 cents when the temperature reaches 100 degrees (a sad common thing these days. But hey, $1 margaritas? Fantastic)
-Head over to the Oasis for so-so food but AMAZING views (sunset is the best)
-Visit the Umlauf Sculpture Gardens
-If you haven't already, check out the bats at the Congress Ave. bridge
Berry cute inspiration board! ; ) I'm thinking berry jam favors? Or berry sugar scrub?
Great links!
I love those earrings, so tempting to get something like those to wear with my dress.... the creamy colors together.
I like your taste.
You must go to South Congress while you're in Austin to Uncommon Objects (amazing antiques and things for the home...and great vintage jewelry) and New Bohemia (amazing vintage shop, just got 2 new finds on Sunday)!
Austin rocks! Some can't miss food spots: Uchi for the best sushi, Malverde for drinks and a cool Austin vibe, Guero's for Tex-Mex and a great patio w/ live music.
Breakfast in the morning at Jo's on 2nd St., and then stroll the 2nd Street District for great shopping including fantastic design store, Mercury.
we're selling those earrings on our website at Pendleton. they are a deeper blue and they are a much more affordable price too!
here they are: blue calcite earrings
I love your blog :)
I love freckles! Such a cute picture is it you?
I can't tell you how often I've wished for freckles! So no, it's not me. :)
