Board #492: Love and Surf
I was having so much fun thinking about where my honey and I might go on our honeymoon, and then we found out we might not be able to take one right away. So disappointing! But, one thing inspiration boards are good for (aside from helping to pull together a look for a wedding) is imagining, so I imagined up a trip to Hawaii...

I just love it! What a great idea... Do you have a physical board or is it all digital?
Oh wow, I love this board. Thanks for the mini Hawaiian vaca via blog post. Dreamy!
Oooo. Like a breath of fresh air!

LOVE!
Ooooh, I'm in love. I think this is my new favorite Kathryn! Gorgeous!!!
Lovely board! Of course I'm biased as I had a beachy wedding, but the sunset and fruity colors here are lovely. Oh, and I have to add: Take a honeymoon right away... I cannot emphasize enough how important it is. It doesn't have to be lavish - maybe just 2 nights. But you need it!
I am from the beach so I really love the Hawaiian honeymoon inspiration!

swoon!!!
that popsicle rack is looking pretty tempting.
so fun...makes me want to take a vacation right this minute.
p.s. me and my hubs could not escape for a honeymoon immediately following our wedding either. We spent 2 nights holed up in a little boutique-y hotel close to home and then we just went on the big vacation we wanted to close to our one year anniversary.
I have to second April here. REARRANGE YOUR SHIT. TAKE THE HONEYMOON RIGHT AWAY.
trust me. you'll need it.
I'm "thirding"! Take the honeymoon right away, even if it's not long. Whatever else you've got, big picture, is not important in the long run. Time with the hubby is. Then make plans (concrete - book a flight, put down a unrefundable deposit, something) for your real honeymoon if you need to. Life has a way of getting in the way. There is never a right time. And it will SO not get easier (folks are most understanding of blowing off responsibilities when you're a newlywed, less so later on).
Everyone I know who waited (myself included) has never done it.
We know the feeling! Our wedding is at the end of August and we had to put off our honeymoon until the end of October. We're placating ourselves by reminding ourselves that many people have to wait much longer than 2 months!
