Happy Weekend!
I blinked and now it's July - how did that happen!? I have a little counter on my Google homepage that tells me how many days until our wedding (yes, yes, I'm a big nerd), and I just can't believe how quickly the time is flying by. Our 4th of July plans are as yet unformed, but I think they should involve patriotic desserts and sparklers. What about you? If you haven't already left for the holiday, then here are some links to take you into the weekend.

Loving manila.
This is why I'll never be an adult, via Lovely Morning.
Pop-up boxing ring.
Since we'll never be able to afford a house here, we're thinking Airstream.
But if I had a house, I'd be hand-painting stripes on the wall.
Cute, crafty wedding.
If I had an extra $120, this recipe box would be mine.
Things I'd like to tell my 17-year-old self.
Darling rooftop engagement pics.
And inner tube anniversary pics.
I already bought my wedding dress, but I think I'm in love.
Yangtze River.
Special cake forks.
County fair Field Notes, via Design Crush.
Taking chalkboard paint to a whole new level.
Have I shared these already? I don't care, I'm sharing them again.
Weddings from days gone by.
Watercolor popsicles.
Dig these photos from Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, via Ruby Press.
Prairie Girl's Guide to Life sounds like it might be a fun summer read, via Lost and Fawned.
Thinking about organic farming.
PS - I just can't keep it to myself any longer: if all goes as planned, I'll be launching the new Snippet & Ink in about a week! It's been a long time coming, and I'm totally anxious and excited about it, and I can't wait to share it with you...

Hi Kathryn! I wanted to thank you for
1. Your blog-- I've beed reading it since before I got engaged and will probably read it well after getting married, too.
2. The tip on the Project Wedding/57 Grand contest-- I'm a finalist! Check out all the finalists (and vote for--ahem-- my design, "Summertime Errands") here: http://www.projectwedding.com/blog/2010/07/01/57-grand-giveaway-vote/
OOhhh sparklers! I just bought heaps on sale for our exit from the reception. If everything else goes wrong at least we'll have sparkly things.
Oh. My. God. The "This is why I'll never be and adult" post was so spot on, it was funny then sad.
I've been following your blog since the beginning so I'm really excited to see its re-launch. Your insight has been a huge inspiration even after I have married. I hope everything goes well for you!
Ooooo can't wait to see how the new site looks! Exciting and nerve-wracking all at once!
Great list! I'm excited to see the new site...I'm sure it will be beautiful!

I'm with you on the striped walls... LOVE. I'm excited for your new site-lift (though I think your site is oh so pretty, the way it is now).
