Board #331: Peach Orchard Wedding

I don't know about you, but I so wish the weather was to right to sit outside in the sun with a book and a bowl of summer fruit. Hence today's inspiration board. Bright summer sun, filtered through an orchard thick with peaches, and a casual meal in the late afternoon, once the day has cooled off a bit. Set up games, maybe a tire swing, and serve family favorites for dessert. Instead of flowers, decorate tables with baskets of peaches that guests can take home.

Mood: sunny, homegrown
Palette: sweet peach, summer green

I'm liking this more recent trend of using fruit in lieu of flowers for centerpieces.

These are gorgeous, but make me feel chilly with it being so snowy where I am!

Lovely to see Peach used in a clean modern way, it is rarely used here in England, people tend to think of it as 1970's and dated - this is very refreshing and inspiring.
