Board #159: DIY Green and Yellow

Did you know that March is DIY Wedding Month? Neither did I - until I read it on the Portovert homepage. So, keep an eye out this month for some do-it-yourself inspired wedding boards on Snippet & Ink. Here's one for you today!

Wheat grass makes a charming, living centerpiece, whether in one long planter, individual pots, or a large circular tray. Jars of homemade cookies are fun favors, and hand painted signs that point to the wedding are a nice rustic touch. But my absolute favorite do-it-yourself element in this inspiration board is the bride's dress. She didn't have time to make her own, so she and her mother added sweet details to one they purchased: a pleated hem, yellow piping, and vintage yellow floral pins.
