Real Wedding Saturday: Valerie & Jason
I always love when a Snippet & Ink reader shares her wedding photos with me - it's always such an honor to be able to share them with the rest of you! Valerie and Jason held their February wedding at The Olema Inn on the Northern California coast. It is such a beautiful place, and the 19th century inn is perfectly quaint and lovely. All of these gorgeous photos were shot by the talented Jesse Leake.

Stationery by Mr. Boddington's Studio. Jason's three-piece wool suit by Ralph Lauren.

Jason accented his suit with a tie by Band of Outsiders and socks by Paul Smith.

Valerie wore an ivory silk chiffon dress by Vera Wang.

All of the flowers, including bouquets, boutonnieres and centerpieces, were created by Chestnut & Vine.

The bridesmaids wore silk crepe dresses by Vineyard for Priscilla of Boston.

The best man was also the officiant! A string trio from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music played during the ceremony: Valerie walked down the aisle to Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want by the Smiths, and for the recessional she and Jason walked back to Just Like Heaven by The Cure.

Jason wore cap-toe Oxfords by Alden, while Valerie wore gold cage sandals by Dior.

Guests took home CDs with music from the Tin Pan Alley band that played at the wedding, the Frisky Frolics, as well as chocolates by Kschocolat. The Olema Inn is known for its delicious local, sustainable and seasonal food, and that's exactly what Valerie and Jason's 55 guests enjoyed.

Miette Patisserie provided the desserts: Parisian macarons in pistachio, hazelnut, and chocolate, and gingerbread cakes with cream cheese frosting, displayed on handmade tree stump cake stands (made by the couple's good friend Michael Ouaknine).

Congratulations Valerie and Jason! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful wedding day with us, and all of these lovely details - I only wish we could have tasted everything too! And a huge thank you to Jesse Leake for sharing these stunning photos with us. Oh, and I must say - if you're ever in Northern California and are looking for a place to stay, be sure to check out The Olema Inn. A truly beautiful and special place.

Beautiful! I love the bride's dress and shoes.
oh what a beautiful wedding, these photos are just gorgeous!
Gorgeous details! What a treat for the guests! Miette's macaroons are so good.
You took my comment regarding the tattoo off! Why? You can't tell me that an elegant wedding dress put up beside a great big tattoo is impressive.
Does anyone know where the photo was taken with all of the egg beaters (the one with the suit jacket)? I love the look of that wall. Is it in their home?
Thanks
Kendra, the wall with the vintage egg beaters is actually inside The Olema Inn! So cute, right?
Anonymous 6:50, because this is a real person's wedding day that they've generously chosen to share with us, I will remove any negative or unfriendly comments about it. If you have other questions, you can email me directly.

Please feel free to remove this: never, ever, ever offend anyone. everyone is free to do whatever and however they choose...the american way, right??

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! We love West Marin so much - we had our rehearsal dinner at the Olema Inn. And personally, I think the bride's elegant dress juxtaposed with her tatoo is awesome!
