Board #264: Teal and Gold
Gold might be my new favorite accent color. It works with so many other colors - hot pink, peach, emerald green, red - and adds luxury to any palette. Inspired by the cover photo from the March 2006 issue of Domino, I've paired it with teal and white, and I think it's a combination of colors that could work in winter, spring, or summer. Gold isn't as neutral as gray or brown, and if you let it take over I imagine things could get pretty gaudy, but little flashes of gold? Mixed in with another color? Love it.

Gorgeous! I just LOVE teal and gold together! In fact, I posted about them a while back, but my inspiration board isn't near what this is (I'm still working on my inspiration board skills...)! Anyway, loving this one -- I hope you don't mind if I talk about it on my blog!

Our original idea of the ivory/white and gold colors started looking very 50th anniversary, and the ceiling of our reception hall was too perfect of an inspiration. It's a bit darker than your teal color, but sapphire and gold are equally as lovely.

I like this color combination - a fresh pop of orange is a nice accent color here, too.

this is really similar to my color scheme, except with some variations of turquoise and teal throughout. i'm in love with it! :)
