Board #426: Pink and Fig

Not all autumn weddings have to include rustic oranges and browns. Though the palette in today's wedding board could work for almost any season, it draws its inspiration from early autumn fruit. Slice open a fig, and you'll find the colors used here: nearly black-blue and sweet pale pink, which I've paired with deep plum red to make it more appropriate for fall. Available in early autumn, dahlias and garden roses come in an endless variety of colors - blush pink is perfect for the wedding I have in mind here.

Mood: sophisticated drama
Palette: plum red, black fig, blush pink

Lovely. And I am generally not a big fan of pink. At all! But this color combo is both sophisticated and inviting.

Fun! I love that you used figs as the inspiration.
